Nenna Eleni Okeke

Nenna is a licensed Psychologist and Narrative Psychotherapist. She completed her Masters and Bachelor degrees in Psychology at Aristotle University and her psychotherapy training at Dulwich centre of Australia and the Institute of narrative therapy and community practice of Thessaloniki.
She has more than 12 years of experience working as a therapist and in psychology posts in mental health, research, education, health and social care in Greece, the UK, Qatar, Spain & Nicaragua. Nenna has supported children, teenagers and adults for the best part of her career. Her professional experience in a variety of cultures and diverse settings have deepened her understanding in the ways psychotherapy can embrace cultural and spiritual elements in treatment.
Following her work in Substance Misuse in London from 2015 to 2017, Nenna was Head of Psychology at the biggest Multidisciplinary clinic in Doha, Qatar from 2017 to 2019. Her responsibilities as Head of department included psychotherapy sessions with children, teens, adults and their families, supervising a team of highly qualified psychologists, working closely with other clinicians and conducting Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale assessments (ADOS 2).
She carried a caseload of complex cases varying from mental health to neurodevelopmental disorders support with a very high percentage of successfully discharged cases. It is in this role that she concretised her personal approach in therapy, combining her deep understanding of mental health and psychotherapy with her training in energy healing, hypnotherapy, meditative and other therapeutic techniques, with great success.
Nenna is a Pranic Healer, a trained Pranic Healing instructor and a certified Master Hypnotherapist. Nenna is also a NLP practitioner, Mindfulness practitioner and has completed the foundation year in Systemic Family Therapy. .
Her areas of specialisation are Mental health: Substance Misuse, Anxiety disorders, Phobias, Speech and Language disorders (Stuttering and Selective mutism), ADHD support, Special Educational Needs and Family Support. When working with children, young adults and their families, Nenna favours an integrated approach working holistically and liaising closely with schools and/or other systems and professionals involved.
Nenna is fluent in English, Greek and Spanish, and is an elementary speaker of French and Portuguese. She offers therapy in Greek and English.
Nenna is a registered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the Greek Company of Narrative Therapy and Community Practice.
